Sushi and a Movie

Sawyer is really blessed to have Grandparents on both sides that love to see him whenever they can! Being as how Nana Jane lives in Brazil, she doesn't get to see him nearly as often, but makes up for when she comes to visit during the summer!
Papa Steve and Nana Kathy have been having Sawyer sleep over one night each weekend every since he was about eight months old to give Bill & I a date night! I sometimes think that we look forward to it just as much as Sawyer does! :) So, Nana Kathy came by to pick him up on Friday afternoon to take him over to their house and he had a blast-because they spoil him rotten!

Bill and I took advantage of not having Sawyer with us to go to LOWES and order some new carpeting for the basement. We finally found one that we could both agree on! Then we met some friends to go see "Date Night" (Steve Carell & Tiny Fey )
It was Hilarious! It was a good thing that we got there pretty early, because it was packed full!

Then we went to our favorite Sushi place called Hiro for Happy Hour. We really fell in love and got addicted to sushi a couple of years ago when we went for Happy Hour where all the sushi rolls are half off! We love edamame, gyoza, spicy tuna and Eal rolls!

Once a month I host a "Parent's Night Out" for my day care families. It's an evening when the parents can drop their kiddos off here at 5:00 p.m. and then pick them up anytime before midnight-that way they can have a night off here and there too!
So Saturday night, the kids got dropped off and we made pizza and then went down to play at the park for a while till it started to get a little chilly. Then they watched "Bob The Builder", had a bedtime treat and then went to bed! I love seeing them all in their cute little jammies!

You're awesome!! Thanks so much for extending the date night invite! I can tell/see that the boys had a GREAT time! On Sunday morning, I asked Nathan what he wanted to do for the day and he said "Go to Ms. Carrie's house!" Hahaha...(melts your heart, doesn't it!!!) ;-)
