Taste of Omaha is a street fair that happens every summer were loads of local restaurants bring out their best for the city to try! You buy a book of tickets and go around to the different booths and fill up on all sorts of things: Indian curries, pulled pork sandwiches, gourmet pizza, calamari, fruit smoothies, roasted corn on the cob, and the crowd favorite~feather bone ribs.
We've been going with the same group of friends for the past three years and it's always a fun time. There are live bands and bouncy castles and it's all downtown next to the lake.
Our friends James and Arliss's daughter Nora decided to make an escape from the stroller but got halfway out and got stuck :)
Now let me tell you of the scene that Phoebi made at Taste of Omaha.....she was VERY well behaved but just her sheer size just made everyone in sight going, "Oh my gosh! Look at the HUGE dog!" People were constantly asking to pet her and taking pictures of her. We even had the photographer from the Omaha World Herald stop to take her picture for the paper!
