We slept in :)
After finding everyone and checking out and figuring out where we needed our bags to be, we decided to head to Old San Juan for some sight seeing and a taste of the local fare.
The cobble stone streets were sooo narrow and lined with unique buildings, little shops and hole-in-the-wall places to eat. It was so pleasant to meander around window shopping and being in the hot sun :)
We ducked in to a local place for a traditional Puerto Rican lunch~lots of rice and beans, different meats and fries....yummy!
We had a beautiful view of the water and the servers were so friendly~ After lunch we needed to head towards the pier to board!
Sawyer was figuring out where the Taxi should take us...
And I just had to post this picture because it's hilarious! I'm not quite sure what was going on here......a hahaha I just laugh so hard every time I see it!
Getting our first look at the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas!
This ship is absolutely stunning!
It truly is a floating city~ with marble stair cases, the Promenade Deck that had shops, cafes and pubs, there was an ice skating rink where you could watch ice shows, mini golf course, a rock wall, basketball court, roller blading course, The Lyric theater, casino, photo and art gallery, fitness center and spa, jogging track, night club, tons of bars, video arcade, pools, saunas, Adventure Ocean Child Center, tons of hot tubs, a Johnny Rockets, library and waaay too many eating places!
We explored the ship and did our 'muster emergency drill' and then headed to the Mozzart Dinning Room for our first dinner on board.
We headed to hear a stand up comedian (whose name for the life of me I can't remember) he was very good and kept us laughing the whole time :) and come to think of it, that was probably the most abdominal exercise we got all week.....
