About a year and a half ago Bill and I started a Thursday Night get-together with a bunch of our friends to come over for dinner and watch 'The Office'. It quickly became a huge hit and something that people really planned their schedules around! We've got a core group of six couples and then some stray singles :) It's such a fun way to break up the weak and make sure that we see each other because of our busy lives. After hosting it for over a year, we decided that we should alternate homes every week and let other people host.
So we went to James and Arliss White's house yesterday for 'Thursday Night'~Alriss spoiled us all with a DELICIOUS chicken spinach curry and grilled flat bread! (Yummy!) Our friend Stephanie spent six months in India, so she made a traditional Indian style fruit salad that was to die for! The weather was really nice yesterday so we were able to eat outside in the backyard and enjoy the last bit of sunshine for the day.

We have been watching NBC's new show, "Minute to Win It" where you have one minute to complete some sort of tricky task and if you complete it in a minute, you win money. Whenever we watch it all the guys are always claiming, "Oh man, that's so easy! I could totally do that!!" Deciding to cal their bluff, Arliss put together some of the games that were on the show for everyone to try.
Some of them were:
*Stacking 5 apples on top of each other and free standing for 5 sec.
*Sucking 5 Skittles candy out of a bowl with a straw, walking to the other side of the table and placing them individually on top of other straws stuck in an egg carton.
*Get 5 marbles to land in 5 thimbles by bouncing them off of the table.
*Pull every tissue one by one out of a tissue box with one hand.
All of these had to be completed in under a minute and you had to beat the previous person's time to move to the next round. It was so much fun and most of the guys will be keeping their mouths shut the next time the show is on! :)
